In this episode, Sara speaks with the Director of the Center for the Study and Prevention of Violence(CSPV) Beverly Kingston, PhD.

Beverly discusses evidence-based programs that help social & emotional learning for kids and kids at risk, alternative thinking strategies that can change the culture of schools, the power of positive peer relationships, and the importance of learning to be your authentic self. Beverly also talks about the relief these social-emotional programs could provide to us socially & economically – as well as their ability to reduce mass shootings.

Sara & Beverly also discuss their problems with fitting in and how that impacted their lives. Beverly also shares how she found her sparkle and how others can find theirs as well.
